Ouch!

I am injured! My calf is hurt. At first I thought I just overworked the muscle, but after this weekend I realized it was a little more. Today I am going to miss class but try walking the track later today. I will miss you!

can not wait until I can make it all three days again! I like the new routines too!! :-)

Would love to hear more info in the spinning class you are teaching at the other place...and you said $90...for how many weeks???

Did the double today!!

Did the 10:15 time slot today...but it was not cardio Jam?!?! A HUGE key element was missing...Teresa :-) 10:15 is not the same with out you! LOL

Then on to Pump...the new release is TOUGH!! I have been drinking tons of water today in hopes of offsetting the sore that I can already feel coming in my back and arms....a good kind of pain! :-)

My commitment is to be at the gym 5 days next week...cardio and strength training!

Good morning! It's Freezin' Friday! The kids are home from school due to the sub zero temperatures. I have decided not to leave the house. It's too cold even for penguins out there!

You know it is times like this that can really get me down. The balance between my needs as a mom and the needs of my kids can be hard to balance. And then choosing the right choice becomes a battle in my mind. Thought race through like:
  • If I don't go I am lazy.
  • If I do go then I am selfish for taking my little ones out in this cold weather.
When you start beating yourself up, it is time to get to the true heart of the matter and then make a new plan.
  • I am not lazy or selfish.
  • I am choosing to stay home because school was cancelled for a reason.

Instead of leaving the house today, our new plan is to turn on the dance music and act crazy together! We will do sit ups and push ups. Finally, we are going to make a tent in the living room while our healthy dinner cooks away in the crock pot.

So, if you are stuck inside like me today, don't get down on yourself! Just make a new plan. Don't worry, you'll get back to your regular routine on Monday! Until then, have a great weekend!

Good morning. Happy Monday. OK. Beginning of Jan. behind us. Gym will start to slow a tiny bit. By mid Feb. it is back to the regulars. So, are you all gonna continue to improve and stick it out? I sure hope so. Remember, do not ask yourself if you "feel" like working out. JUST put it on the schedule and do it. MWF. 3 hours of cardio a week is perfect. Now, let's talk the dirty word, food. Be sure everything you fuel your body with is just that -fuel. Run from carbs and sugars. Protein up!! Be honest with yourselves this year. Reachable goals. Share them with me. We can get there....TOGETHER.

Hey Girls! I am so happy that the new year has started! I am ready for a new me. A "me" I can trust. I am a go-getter. The girl people come to if they need stuff done right. The first born daughter. Mommy in charge. Wife/ CEO/CFO.

Why is it that when I say I am going to do something for myself I give myself the excuse to NOT DO IT??? My number one resolution:

To be honest with myself.

IF I say I am going to go work out, and I put it in my planner, I am going to do it. No matter what. No excuses. I matter. If I continue to let myself down then I cannot trust myself.

Until now. I am not going to let myself down. This time, I will succeed!
